Miss International South Africa is one of World South Africa Pageants feature events. The winner of Miss International South Africa wins an opportunity to represent South Africa in the international Pageant Miss International held in Japan.
Miss International is an International Beauty competition that brings together representatives of different cultures and traditions from all over the world. The pageant was created in Long Beach, California, United States in 1960 and hosted in Long Beach until 1967. This prestigious pageant then moved to Japan from 1968 and has been held here since. The pageant advocacy is to achieve a world where women can live with positivity, inner strength and individuality. The slogan of Miss International is “the realization of world peace through mutual understanding”. It has also recently adapted the slogan “Cheer All Women” The winner of this prestigious title wins an opportunity to compete on the international stage and a chance to win her share in R350 000 from the international organisation!

Location
Miss International South Africa will be held at The South African State Theatre, Pretoria. All participants will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation.
The winner of this category will win the opportunity to represent South Africa in Japan for the international title. It is however the representatives’ responsibility to pay for a portion of her license fee which includes her accommodation for the dates of the pageant, food, local excursions and airport transfers. The representative will also need to cover the costs of her flights as well as any other expense she may need to pay.
